Mystery Shops
We can provide you with a total package that includes telephone mystery shops and live video recording of our on location mystery shops. Our consultants are experienced sales people themselves so you can be assured that you're not getting a part time person that has been paid a low fee with little experience or understanding of what the process involves. You would then receive a written report with supporting documentation of what took place and this can then help you decide on what actions need to be taken and the implementation of corrective solutions.
Auditing
We will review your business performance and offer constructive advice. This is not just in the area of used cars. We can carry out business auditing across all areas to include service parts and body and paint if necessary. We have an experienced team of consultants that have worked at Dealer Principal level, some owning businesses and others working for large dealers and dealer groups so you can be assured that the knowledge, and therefore your business interpretation, will be of the most up to date and accurate.
Consultancy
We prefer to call it in dealer training and this dovetails with the classroom training we deliver for some of the world's largest and most respected manufacturers like BMW, Mercedes and many more.
Our teams will deliver whatever your business needs to develop and we will identify this in a totally unique way. Unlike other consulting firms who will arrive with an 'off the shelf'' package, we prefer to spend time with you to first get to know your business, your people, how you operate and your strengths and weaknesses. This normally takes a full day with an experienced consultant in the dealership and is critical in determining a bespoke programme that is tailored to the needs of your business.
Training
We do have generic training packages and we can deliver training that has been used to help develop sales executives and managers. Time and again our packages have been proven to increase sales and profits whilst providing excellent value for money.
We can, however, in the same way that we develop your consultancy programme, develop a unique package of training just for you. This would involve time at the business finding out what your requirements are. We would then design a training package to deliver the required result. This can be achieved in house if you have the facilities to accommodate the training or off site at a local hotel or suitable venue. Customer Clinics
What do your customers think of their experience in buying a car from you? Do you know? Have you ever tried to find out? We know from previous exercises that this is a very worthwhile way of developing a business. We find out what customers really think of your dealership by inviting them to come and tell us. With this knowledge we can then put together corrective solutions that will help deliver exactly what the customer wants and as you know staying ahead in today's market demands that we deliver the best “retail experience” we possibly can and we are experts in helping clients to achieve that.
Mentoring
Working closely with individuals has long been established as a proven way of helping people develop. Our teams have a wealth of experience in this area and with significant results. Often an individual can find themselves stuck in a rut but with an experienced person who once had the same problems acting as a mentor, difficulties can be overcome very quickly and you can soon find yourself with a staff member back to full capacity and producing the goods. Go on give that person another chance find out what's stopping them, you owe to yourself and them.
Staff Appraisals
This can involve training inexperienced managers who have never carried out staff appraisals or indeed doing them on your behalf. We have a proven set of processes that make this work both for the member of staff involved and the manager responsible for that person. Regular reviews are so important if you are going to get the best from your most important asset, your people. We recommend staff appraisals are carried out at least six monthly and dependant on the circumstance more frequently. Clear actions must be agreed and followed up to ensure we get the most out of the appraisal process. Staff recruitment is expensive as can be the legal process if disciplinary measures are carried out incorrectly. Be aware of what your people think, make them aware of what you think, and remember, these two elements of communication are vital for any successful organisation.
Recruitment
Getting the right person for the job is sometimes easier said than done or at the very least very time consuming. We can provide a solution and again in any format totally bespoke to you. It can be as small as helping to design the copy for the advertisement, to conducting a full recruitment package and presenting you with a final shortlist of candidates for the position, whatever that might be. We can carry this out for you openly or anonymously if confidentiality and the appointment of the person is delicate. Again this is all taken care of by experienced people who have either done the job or employed this type of person before, leaving you time to focus on your business.
Appointment Generation
We have developed a unique process of generating leads for the dealership and we will come and work with you and your people, to give you a guaranteed result in appointment making. We have been working with dealers and dealer groups across Europe with this initiative to help them generate a good selection of quality appointments that ultimately turn into sales. We will visit the business; put together a punchy message that can then be mailed to a good sized selection of customers from your own database.
Once this has been done, and the timing is critical in making this work, we will visit the dealership late afternoon and early evening to work with your sales team to generate prospects by appointment. We have proven statistics on the results of this campaign and we can honestly say with total conviction this initiative sells cars. |
